Villa from 1899

A grand villa was built in 1899 according to the design by W. Lippke, but in 1903, it was converted for residential purposes. The two-story building with small rooms in the attic, covered by a gable roof with several dormer windows, has retained its original entrance door carpentry and staircase. In the early 1970s, a plain, contrasting eleven-story residential building was erected in the park surrounding the villa. This construction sparked a wave of protests from the city's enthusiasts, ultimately leading to the entire surroundings of Sopot receiving conservation protection.
