A modest villa in a style reminiscent of Romanticism from 1904 in Sopot

Especially charming are the villas in Sopot, which draw inspiration from the romantic architectural style. They are typically single-story buildings, with the lower floors made of brick and the upper ones of timber frame construction, covered with ceramic roofs. They are characterized by the presence of verandas, bay windows, balconies, and decorative turrets. An example of a more modest villa is the two-story one from 1904, belonging to a Sopot retiree named Karpiński. This building has a ground-floor veranda with a rooftop terrace and a wooden annex serving as a hallway.
