Monument Svatopluk II the Great, a medieval Duke of Pomerania, was unveiled in August 2010, on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the Dominican Fair. Pleszew monument was cast in accordance with the draft local sculptor Lawrence Samp, at the initiative of the Kashubian-Pomeranian. 2.8 meters tall Svatopluk appears fully armed passers-by: the helmet, coat, with a shield, sword and spear pointing towards the sky.
