Small Arsenal in Gdańsk

The building served as a warehouse that housed the heavy guns and mortars for the nearby bastions, have also relieve the huge armory. The building was built in the years 1643-1645, designed by Jan Strakowski.

On the ground floor are stored heavy weapons, which if necessary, with four gates, you can quickly move out of the square. The floors were stored pistols, rifles and saddle, through large windows, they can be transmitted directly to the building. At the front of the building survived the great coat of Gdansk with date 1645. Small Arsenal is today one of the Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts houses the sculpture studios.
