Temple was established in the late fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, it was built in stages. Newly completed buildings destroyed by fire in 1499. During the religious turmoil in Gdansk in 1523 took over the Lutheran churches, which served them until 1945. Transferred at the end of the 40 Jesuits, the church served as a creative environments. In 1997 he was commissioned Greek Catholics, as a parish church and kontrkatedra Wroclaw-Gdansk diocese dedicated to St. Bartholomew and St. Mary.
