Monument sea captain Tadeusz Ziolkowski (g. Stanislaw Szwechowicz) was unveiled at Coastland Fisheries in 1990, which after independence was the first commander of the ship "Lions", in 1939 as head of the pilots (equivalent to the harbor master) objected to the entrance to the Gdansk German ship "Schleswig-Holstein". Then he was arrested by the Germans, and for his patriotism and unyielding attitude murdered - as one of the first prisoners of KL "Stutthof" - on Good Friday 1940.
