Cow Gate in Gdansk

One of the oldest water gate in Gdansk. The gate was built in the fourteenth century. Name probably comes from the way he herded cattle. In the early twentieth century, the city authorities decided to complete the reconstruction of the building and converted it into a Gothic historicizing, after the war, was restored in the original form of the Gothic, using fragments of the medieval walls.
